Oh, here’s another Faroe photo for you. This shows the darkest hour of the night these days, and as you see – we are so far up north, that the sun really doesn’t set. I think it’s beautiful.. even though it’s also a bit confusing, because I don’t notice how late it is, because it doesn’t get dark 😉
It’s a view from our bathroom.
Smukt ;o)
Ohhhhh, very nice, but…i have read 6°C…Oh dear! In june!!!
Is there cold?:)
Well, we’ve had wind from North the last few days, so it’s been cold, yep 🙂 Now we’re back to normal; 15C, which is nice.. it always feels a bit warmer than the actual temperature, because of the humidity.
Hey, how much snow can fall there, every year? :-O
Not much, actually – the Gulf Stream keeps us warm, so winters are usually mild with snow now and then, and summers are cool. Last year, we had a heat wave though – we had 27C in my village.. so it’s not always cold and damp 😉
Thanks for comments, by the way 🙂
